When I change the fare of a specific segment why does it also change for another segment in Rich Content & Branding?

When calculating a fare When comparing prices for a specific origin city, an itinerary with included transfers may be offered as a through fare. Since they are the same fare in this instance, if you modify the fare of one of the parts, the other segment's fee will change as well.
