MFA
Multi-Factor Authentication, often referred to as MFA or 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication), is a security process that requires users to provide multiple forms of identification or verification before they can access a digital account or system. It adds an extra layer of protection beyond just a password, making it significantly more difficult for unauthorized individuals to gain access to sensitive information.
Enabling Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) in TTS Corporate
MFA provides an added safeguard against unauthorized access. Only travel agencies' administrators and companies' administrators can activate MFA within their TTS Corporate settings.
Step 1: Log in to your TTS Corporate account
Log in normally to your travel agency administrator's TTS Corporate account with your credentials.
Step 2: Go to TTS Corporate's "My Account" tab.
Navigate to “My Account” and from the dropdown menu, select the “Companies” option.
Step 3: Choose the company you want to enable MFA for
Within the “Companies” page option, choose the company, or companies, that you want to enable MFA for by clicking on the edit button, represented by a pencil, as shown above.
Step 4: Enable Multi-Factor Authentication
If you go all the way down the Edit Company page, you'll find the following button.
Enable MFA by checking the box. MFA is set at a company-wide level and is enabled for all users.
Make sure you click on “save”, before leaving the edit page.
Once activated, users will receive a verification code via email upon attempting to log in to TTS Corporate. This code serves as an additional layer of authentication, ensuring that even if someone has access to their password, they will not be able to access the data.
