Connecting TTS Corporate to your GDS

Lets start by the beginning...

Why do you need to connect TTS Corporate to your GDS?

Travel agencies need to connect TTS Corporate account to their GDS to be able and allow their companies to search and book their agency GDS Content in TTS Corporate.  

The connection to your GDS PCC/SID allows you to give the book and search autonomy your corporate clients want allowing them to search among your GDS content, air, hotel and rent-a-car by themselves, eliminating tons of emails back and forth about proposals and quotations while giving your travel agents more time to chase new business opportunities. By being connected to your agency GDS PCC/SID, TTS Corporate will create a PNR for every booking created by your corporate customers allowing your agents to act on it.

 

How to connect TTS Corporate to your GDS?

Types of connection supported

TTS Corporate can be connected to the GDS using a Service Bureau connection or uAPI credentials.

Since the process of requesting a Service Bureau connection is quite faster than the process of requesting a uAPI connection, whenever possible we always request a Service Bureau connection. We say whenever possible because Worldspan subscriber agencies and Australian and New Zealand agencies using any Travelport GDS can only use a uAPI connection.

And now, what? 

Well, now if you already have Universal API (uAPI) credentials or Service Bureau configuration under one of TTS PCCs (Galileo 6Q6V, Apollo 2Y6V) you can setup your connection right away as explained in the "Setting up the connection between TTS Corporate and the GDS" section below.

If you don't have uAPI credentials or a Service Bureau configuration under one of TTS PCCs, you will need to request a connection. To learn how to request a connection between TTS Corporate and your GDS click here.

 

Setting up the connection between TTS Corporate and the GDS

To setup the connection between TTS Corporate and your GDS, you need to have a GDS Content subscribed. Then go to the GDS content Provisioning page available in any GDS core content settings.

#Activating and Validating a Service Bureau Connection#

Activate
In this step, the system will verify if the service bureau configuration exists.
Select "Use Service Bureau Configuration" and fill out the corresponding fields and click on the "Activate" button.

If system detects that the configuration exists, then for security reasons, next you will need to validate your connection. However, if the systems doesn't detect the configuration, it will show the following message right before the "Activate" button:
Connection not Activated
Please confirm with your Travelport Account Manager if the Service Bureau configuration is correct.

Validate
In this step, you are asked to create a PNR in your PCC and add the remark shown in the screen to that PNR (the remark format shown in the image below is for Galileo GDS). This information is also sent by email to you (the person doing this steps). Then insert the PNR code you created in "Validation PNR" box you see in the image below and click on the "Validate" button.

 

If everything is correct your connection will be activated.

If the remark is not correctly inserted in the PNR supplied, TTS Corporate will show the following message right before the "Validate" button:
Connection not validated
Please verify the validation remark inserted in the PNR. If it's incorrect please remove it and add the correct one.


Activating a uAPI connection using your own uAPI Credentials

Select "Use my uAPI Credentials" and fill out the corresponding fields (to input the password click on "change password") and click on the "Activate" button.

 

Note: do not forget do add the slash icon (/) at the end of the uAPI url.

Your connection will be activated when you see the message "Connection Activated" like in the image below.
